Buy Travel Insurance before you travel to Malta or Cuba

Are you planning on traveling to Malta or Cuba? Like other far-off destinations, you should prepare for the unexpected and make sure you have some sort of travel insurance coverage for your trip. There are many things that could happen – you could lose your luggage, get sick, etc. – and the only way to guarantee piece of mind during your vacation is an insurance policy. Cuba is undoubtedly one of the favorite destinations when visiting the Caribbean, and of course, no wonder, since the country has in its extension to some of the most beautiful beaches around the world, for example in the Canarreos archipelago, where lies the island of long, narrow format called Cayo Largo del Sur.

Havana University

The Royal and Pontifical University of Havana, the oldest house of studies of its kind on the island, was established by the Dominicans of San Juan de Letran in 1728 and was settled for 174 years in the convent and church located in this order Old Havana. In 1842 the academic institution was secularized and expanded. In 1902 he was transferred to its present location at Hill of Arostegui, in Vedado.

Since 1920 the statue of Alma Mater chairs with arms extended the staircase of 88 steps. It is the work of Czech sculptor Mario Korbel who used his work as a model for two different Cuban.
