Remember to change your currency when going to Malta
From 1st January 2008 the Euro became the legal tender for the country of Malta. I suggest using a currency calculator to check the best exchange rates, as they can vary a lot! At one point I was getting £1.50 for every Euro but that dropped to £1.20 a day later!
The comparison websites are really handy, so check them out! Banks in Malta open at varying times and unlike banks in the UK, they aren’t open all day. Be sure to change your money before you go!
